Special incentives offered at North Aurora communities

Two new Gladstone Homes Premier Series models now are open in North Aurora. In addition, Gladstone is offering special incentives at each of its North Aurora communities.

At Moose Lake Estates, located near Randall Road and Orchard Road/Mooseheart Drive, customers can visit the newly opened Seastone and Elmstone models, as well as other popular Premier Series models such as the Riverstone, Jadestone and Wildstone.

Customers who contract for a home at Moose Lake, or Gladstone's Windstone Place or Oak Creek Townhomes, during May will receive a $1,000 Lowe's gift card, presented at sign-off of their design selections, and may qualify for special "2-1" financing through Gladstone's preferred lenders.

The 3,281 square-foot Seastone features a courtyard entertainment area with entrances to the foyer and a first-floor master suite and luxury bath.

The first floor also features a 395 square-foot great room and a 167 square-foot formal dining room, each with two-story cathedral ceilings and separated by a two-sided stone fireplace. Hardwood floors in the foyer, kitchen and dinette, and furniture-quality oak cabinets in the kitchen are standard in Premier Series homes. A study, powder room and laundry room with access to the three-car garage complete the first floor.

Upstairs are three spacious bedrooms and a hall bath. An optional 200 square-foot bonus room can serve as a fifth bedroom, secondary family room, play room or exercise room.

The 3,222 square-foot Elmstone plan features a nearly 300 square-foot "formal room" with a cathedral ceiling, in place of the traditional formal living and dining rooms.

The family room measures more than 360 square-feet with a fireplace and optional wet bar or e-space, with open sightlines to the kitchen and dinette. A study, powder room and three-car garage complete the first floor.

The second floor features a master suite including a luxury bath and a 97 square-foot walk-in closet, three spacious bedrooms and a hall bath. A large second-floor laundry has entrances from the hallway and the master bath.

Gladstone also has added the 3,578 square-foot Neostone plan to its Premier Series. A model of the Neostone is scheduled to open this summer at Gladstone's newest community, Chatham Square in Plainfield. The Chatham Square sales center will open later in May.

Windstone Place, located along Oak Street east of Orchard Road, is a 66-home community featuring homes from Gladstone's Signature Series — the Foxstone, Penstone and Artstone. Designed with the Premier Series in mind, the Signature Series plans offer an innovative use of space that creates open sight lines, spacious yet functional kitchen and family room areas, dynamic master retreats, and a study in lieu of a traditional living room.

Oak Creek Townhomes, near Interstate 88 and Farnsworth Avenue, features three new townhome designs from Gladstone — the Marstone, Oakstone and Welstone — that were unveiled this spring.

The 2-1 financing, offered through Gladstone's preferred lenders for qualified buyers and loan amounts, reduces a mortgage payment in the first year by two percentage points, and in the second year by one percentage point.

"If a buyer gets a 6.5 percent mortgage rate, they can pay 4.5 percent in year one and just 5.5 percent in year two," said Vicki Romanski, Gladstone's general sales manager. "Depending on the type of home purchased, you could save around $500 per month in the first year."

According to Romanski, savings over the course of a 10-year mortgage could average about $8,000, and offer customers additional buying power than can offset the cost of options or help them upgrade to a larger home.

"And the Lowe's gift card offers our customers another $1,000 in amenities for their new homes," she added.

Both incentives are being offered May 1 – 31.
